THE TRIBAL LAWS OF EASTERN ALGONQUIN - The Children of the Light

An excerpt from "Nipissing from Brule to Booth", author Muray Leatherdale 1975.

The following tribal laws which were supposedly those incorporated by th Eastern Algonkian Nation were probably known by the Nipissings who were a part of this large nation. The origin of these laws, or their actual use, is unknown. To what extent the Nipissings adhered to them is also unknown. At any rate I am introducing them here for the reader's interest.
